The spaces are usable. People can move through them comfortably. There is direction.

But even then, something doesn’t fully land. People pass through. They don’t anchor.

The difference is subtle. It’s not about whether a space works.

It’s about whether it holds people.

Where they choose to stay.

Where they return.

Where the space becomes part of their routine.

Liveable spaces support use.

Places create attachment.

The industry is moving forward. There are many strong examples locally that are well considered and genuinely usable.

But the next step is not just liveability. It is creating spaces that people remember, return to, and make their own.
